Bruno, a 12-year-old brown Chesapeake-Labrador mix, visits the small town of Longville, MN every day. Longville is home to about 150 people.

Bruno lives with his owners Debbie and Larry LaVallee outside of town. But that doesn’t stop him from making the four-mile commute each day to get to town. Here comes Bruno now! For twelve years, Bruno has walked himself into town.

It is completely normal to see this dog walking along the highway and straight into town each day. The town’s residents are glad to see Bruno when he arrives!

Bruno was adopted by the Larry and Debbie LaVallee when they found Bruno in a cardboard box at the end of their driveway. The couple soon realized that Bruno was happiest having the freedom to roam.

Each day, Bruno has the same routine. His first stop is the grocery store, where he gets some meat scraps they have saved for him. Then he goes the to city hall, library, the ice cream shop, and local offices.

One resident, Sharon Rouse, says that everyone knows Bruno. If Bruno is riding in the back of his owners truck through town, people will yell out “There’s Bruno!” Bruno is a local celebrity!

After his day of socializing, napping, and sunbathing Bruno says goodbye to his friends makes his was back home.

Everyone knows Bruno will be back the next day! Bruno is a little slower when he walks these days and will gladly accept a ride back home!
