The man further explained that he wouldn’t have called just because he was hearing the cry but had found where the cry was from, so he needed to inform the police.

The older man further explained that he managed to find out about the unusual cry of the baby and that he found out that the crying had been coming from his neighboring house. To his greatest surprise, the cry was coming from a place that had been abandoned for not less than a few months.

According to the man, he tried to get into the house through the door and window, but he could not open them. After then, he tried to alert anyone who could be in the house, but he got no response. After trying all he could, and there was no luck, he decided that the best option was to call the police for assistance.

Based on the seriousness of the call, the assigned police sped off to the place. Just 15 minutes after the police got the call, the dispatched police car arrived at the scene. Even though they had no idea what they were going to encounter exactly, they were pumped up to sort the issue. Based on their enthusiasm, they figured out the house they were going to in no time.

When they arrived at the house, the crying was still on and so loud that people across the street could hear it. Based on how loud the crying was, the police officers were surprised that only the direct neighbor had called in to report the strange happening.

Instead, they shouted a few times in the hope that somebody would help open the door from inside, but they got no answer. With their new method of getting in, they were able to find their way inside in no time. Since the door was old, it only took a few tries before it gave way. As soon as the door opened, they rushed into the house; the crying became twice as loud at their entry. As a result of this, the police wasted no time heading towards it.

At their first glance at the inside of the house, they realized it was as bad as the outside. The state was so bad that the police thought that if they took the time to take a closer of the house, they would notice some strange details about the place. So, they tried to focus on the cry and not be distracted by the state of the house.

On entering the house, they realized the crying was coming from upstairs. Without hesitation, the four officers made their way into the room it was coming from. They found the very young-looking baby crying his eyes out in the room. On sighting the baby, the officers heaved a sigh of relief.

Since the officers got informed that nobody had been in the house for half a year, the situation baffled them. They kept wondering where the couple had gone.

They decided to continue their findings at the station based on what they had found. The officers took the pictures and the baby and made their way back to the station. They thought they were done with the house but didn’t know they would be back at the place very soon.

He wondered where his parents were and how they ended up leaving the baby alone in the house. These questions heightened Bradley’s curiosity about the occurrence, and he was yearning to get an answer to the questions he had about the house.

Despite his curiosity to know more, Bradley was sure that getting answers would require him to carry out a personal investigation of the situation. Bradley did just as he had made up his mind to do. To get a more personal investigation of the situation, he began to wait until after his shift to use the police database to source useful information.

In his search, he realized that there was no registered owner of the house. But the surprising thing was that the address kept popping up in many searches. The address appeared so much in the search result because, at a time, someone was interviewed about a missing person case over 1.5 years ago. The person being interviewed named the address as a potential spot of interest for the missing case.

From the report, the man being interviewed told the police that he had seen the same missing couple whose case had been around for a while at the hose a couple of times. Based on the looks of things, it was obvious that nothing had been done with the information provided by the man.

Upon getting information about the news that made the address of the abandoned house appear so much on search engine results, Bradley brought the pictures he had found in the house to compare with the pictures of the missing couple. Without having to check for long, he found that the people in both pictures were the same.

Since the missing couple was the same as those whose pictures were found in the abandoned house, Bradley had to search further about the missing case. From his findings, it was reported that the couple was poor. From the search, there was not much evidence that the couple was missing. Besides the woman’s mother, who had reported the case, no one else seemed to know or care about the couple’s whereabouts.

Bradley’s recent findings surprised him, and then he decided to share the information with other officers in other parts of the house, searching for pieces of evidence. Just as he was about to share his findings with the other officers present in the house, something else caught their attention. They were all put on high alert by a sudden thud coming from below the house.

At the frightening sound, they began to wonder if there was something down the house or if it was someone making the sound. Based on the confusion, they drew their pistols without hesitation while they looked for a way down. It was not long before they discovered a hatch.
